Snaps for fitted cockpit floor mat?

Received our fitted cockpit floor mat from Newmar today. And, it came with a package of snaps; male and female. Not sure how I would drill the floor tiles to install the mail snaps. Is anyone using the snaps, or just letting the rubber backing keep it in place?

As an aside, it was a bit of a chore to get the mat in place under seats, around the steering column, etc. It just took a bit of time and effort.

The fit is just OK; not a really close fit in some places. It will suffice, but I had hoped for just a little better fit on a $200+ floor mat. I think it will help us...and, our two Mini Schnauzers...minimize tracking debris into the interior of the coach

I'd put in place and try it without any snaps. Sometimes less is more.
I've replaced boat carpet that was snapped all around and didn't need any in most cases.

It’ Probably due to the Toyota? floor mat lawsuits from a few years back. A cya measure from the lawyers.

As requested, "pictures." Sorry about the one that is rotated. Some day, I'll figure out how to keep that from happening.

Yeah, we wanted one in tan as well. Newmar offers the mats in any color you want...as long as it is medium gray!

That looks so nice that I would want to put a rug on top of it to protect it.

Too funny. When I clicked on the first one for a larger view, it was in the correct orientation.

You are absolutely right! I hadn't noticed that. Chalk it up to a dinosaur trying to use technology.

ComNet2 doesn't show the model years the mats fit. A quick call to Newmar customer service should provide the answer to your question, however.

Picked ours up at the factory during our visit, there were no saps or any other hardware in the box, guess you just got a bonus
