How about a new slide motor bolt system that doesn't loosen up! That would be a nice improvement!!!

Dowsing rods will be standard equipment on all dp motorhomes.

Maybe we should post what we would like to see rather than speculating:
- Option for genuine Ultraleather(TM) furniture fabric
- 10 year window fogging/falling out warranty
- Option to delete Xite infotainment/Nav system (price reduction) or option to substitute an existing aftermarket CarPlay & Android Auto - compatible system.
- Freightliner 10 year warranty on DEF system

Oh and:
- Option LiFePO4 house battery system
- (standard) a switch on the charger & system monitor to select LifePO4 charge profile.

Likes all your suggestions and hopes, especially the slide motor bolts assembly...

but how about something really basic like HEADIGHTS so you can actually see down the road...the LED type with proper housing and computer flash...yup that would be nice too

well the 21s just saw a 3% increase on any orders that were in the system as of last week... word on the street is another 6-10% price increase for 22s... i REALLY hope tech from other winnebago lines will make its way into the newmar line. Larger windows can be specialed in would love to see a triple bunk option again. I bet itll be "smart" ovens, fridges, coolers, washer/dryer and whole coach wireless options... all i know is, if the new lines dont have wireless dump release valves.... forget it.

How about 22.5" wheels for the Bay Star models instead of 19.5"?
BTW, does anyone know whether this can be requested as a "special" option for factory orders?

Sorry, I didn't get the memo that 2021 Bay Stars got 22.5" wheels.

And to followup on the other part of your question, I dont think Newmar will allow you to do anything with the wheels as a special.

At least they didnt when I tried that for our '16. I wanted aluminum wheels on the VLDP and they said no. Apparently requests for wheels and such would change their chassis order from Freightliner and that was a no go.

It sounded like all of those orders were negotiated, fixed, and locked and loaded for the entire year.

BayStars have had 22” wheels for a while now. This was one of the key reasons we chose the BayStar over the BayStar Sport (which still has the smaller wheels). Pretty sure this all changed in 2015 or so.

Thanks for the correction. Really happy about the larger wheels.

If they change it I doubt they will advertise it because it would be like admitting that the present bolt system is defective. Someone will have to inspect a 2022 and let us know whether Newmar made a modification.
