Sony Bravia Not Working

I was upgrading some network components today in the coach and I turned on the lift TV in my 2017 LADP. Well I tried to turn it on and it just wouldn't turn on. All the other Sony TVs turned on no problem.

It seemed to be a power issue, so I reached behind the TV and below the counter and tested the outlet. Power... Ok that is strange. Could the TV plug come lose? Nope.

What gives...

I did a little searching and found an obscure reference to unplugging the Bravia TV and letting it sit for a 60 seconds - then plug back in. Sure enough - that cured the issue and the TV turned right on.

In case this happens to anyone else - hopefully this post will help you with a quick fix.

George

Yep, unplugging or killing the power will correct the issue in the short term. Unfortunately it will not cure the problem. We had all 3 TV's replaced in Sept when we went back for warranty work.

Just for that reason? Did the new ones correct that issue?

Yes, just for that reason. Ours were doing it quite often and the replacements have been doing good.
