Sound & heat insulation

Put Noico inside the doghouse when I first got the C. S. and it helped a lot. Now I want to do more. Any tips? and the type of material you used? Would like to do the wheel wells and under our seats.
Thanks

See my post, starting at post #9:

On my 36LA I insulated the engine cover, underside of the floor, bottom of exterior dash, firewall face above the floorline in the front engine area, and the a/c defrost ducts under the dash in the front engine area. Well worth it.

Thanks for the info Paul. I looked under the rig again and I think I have a plan. The wheel wells are just a flat metal 3 sided box. Take the wheels off and I have great access to put sheets of insulation on or use a rubberized spray insulation----or maybe both.

Sounds llke a plan. I washed surfaces with soap, water, and sponge. The self-adhesive on the Stinger adhered well. I then sprayed the Stinger with Permatex hood liner and stuck the Dynamat sound insulation to that for two layers of sound and heat attenuation. In two years it never separated. There was already a thin layer of foil backed insulation on the bottom of the floor boards but not very effective. Besides sound, there was a noticable difference in the floor temps around the engine cowling.
