Hi Mike,
I carry a fully mounted spare tire in the basement. It is in the center of the first bay that one can open from both sides. On my coach it is the second door back on the passenger side. There is still room on both sides to store lots of stuff. I just had Joey beds installed. While not mandatory, it does make getting the tire in/out a lot easier.

Thumbs up spare tire

I allready have one around my waist but, I didnt think about the basement
I used to have a classs b toyhauler that I built and space was allways at a premuim. I guess the slider in the basement would be a good spot.
thx mike
