When we ordered our '02 DSDP the salesman promised us two Newmar jackets. After months of waiting and several trips (105 miles one way) and seeing him giving jackets to new owners getting their rig delivered we did finally get ours. Nice work jacket when working on my Country Coach!

Gee, all I got with my Freightliner is some lousy fan brackets.

We got two very nice Newmar jackets with Dutch Star embroidered on them from Newmar. I got a pizza cutter, a backpack, nail files, flashlights, and small notebooks from Freightliner at various shows and rallies. Livin the dream!!

Spartan Jackets

Having a Dutch Star in a Spartan chassis we have received BOTH sets of jackets. I’d have to give the nod to Spartan for the best jacket award, but the DS one is nice too.

To get the Newmar jackets, we had to return some sort of coupon to Newmar. I think we found the coupon in our black box. Maybe some dealers handle this for new owners. Ours didn’t. No surprise there.

We got the Spartan jackets as part of the booty when we attended Spartan Academy in June. We got a very nice set of Spartan chairs as well. I don’t know if Spartan routinely supplies those jackets to all new Spartan owners. They do sell them in the Company Store.

Hi - We got a 3'fer. Spartan, Newmar and Steinbring. All nice jackets, just like the product's quality. (And they only cost me $71,000 each). But worth every penny.

My sister and I went RV shopping in 2005. She and her husband bought a new Itasca Meridian and we bought a new Diplomat. On our first camping trip together, my wife and I walked out at dinner with our Monaco embroidered shirts. My sister said....where did you get those. I told her they came with the coach. She was a little miffed. About a half hour later we walked out with out Monaco wine glasses. Again.....where did you get those. Came with the coach. Finally after it started to coo down, we came out with our Monaco coats (we had planned this all in advance). She was livid that Winnebago hadn't given them anything. Being the younger brother, I played this up for several trips.

Sounds like a great deal. Buy six nice jackets and get an even better Dutch Star with them!

Attending the Camping World Rally at Atlanta Motor Speedway DW test drove a Dutch Star . Not to be outdone, I did too. We each received a NEWMAR jacket with a patten (faux) leather purse. We went home in our Winnie. . . Now Ventana 4369 owners! Their marketing paid off. . . It was not the quality as they (dealer) were using a pre owned Dutch Star that on a previous test drive, the driver hit the guard rail during a turn, damaging two basement doors . . . It was the Comfort Drive that sold us [emoji817]%.
