Spartan Tow haul air connection

Setting up the 18 LA on a Spartan chassis to tow our 18 Durango with the Air Force one brake system. There was no male connector for the LA so I contacted Spartan with Vin # and asked for the male air connectors which are not the correct ones. They sent 0716-MM5-AD06 which is their part number and it is to big to fit air connector on back of coach.

I’ll be picking up my 18 Mountain Aire in a couple of weeks. I contacted Spartan about the male fitting to attach to my Roadmaster Brakemaster air line and this is what they said to use.

Part# 1042-MM5-013 3/8" INDUSTRIAL cost 13.11 in stock

I went to a Parker store and purchased one. Hope it works.

Scott Thanks will check again with Spartan on Monday. Spartan said the air fitting was tie wrapped to the air line at Spartan. Not on our coach.

Air Force One air hose has a different sized connector than what Spartan puts on the coach. Search the forum as there was a recent thread showing how to make an adapter.

The air fitting at the front and rear are also available at harbor freight for $1.29.
The one at the bottom near the hitch is a different one all together.

EDIT:
Will this work for the trailer hitch side? (the second attachment from the Parker.com website)

The one you are showing from Harbor Freight are not the ones that will fit. Those are the ones we use in the shop and can be used on Spartan chassis but this is a special larger size female fitting on tow haul. If I need to I could change the female connector to fit the more popular air fitting.
