Wow.....learned my new word for the day, so early in the morning, now I can relax the rest of the day.

I'm in the same boat as Dutch Star Don, but facing the other direction. LOL

We were looking to upgrade to a diesel pusher and found a 2022 Ventana 4334 available but it had the Spartan Chassis. If we wanted to special order it would have been almost a year. It was the floor plan we wanted and I figured both chassis meet specs, both have same transmission and engine so I wasn't going to lose sleep over it. Some people really seem to like the controls on the steering column on the Freightliner (like the engine brake) vs. the more "traditional" Spartan controls, some don't.

Figured I didn't have any experience either way, so it wouldn't make a difference to me - and it hasn't.

I am currently at the Spartan Factory in Charlotte, MI. Been here since Monday as they complete a chassis inspection and do some upgrades. Gotta say I'm very impressed with the attention and service I've received both in-person and when I call during the day to get updates. They've even found a few items that weren't chassis related and got permission from Newmar to fix them and bill Newmar directly. So right now, I'm happy with Spartan.
Can't ask for any more.
