Staple gun?

I'm trying to cut down the corner cabinets in the bedroom so they don't stick down so far. I have removed them and have a plan in mind on what I want to do to them. What I need is a staple gun similar to what Newmar used to build the cabinets. They have a 3/16 inch crown and I believe they are 22 gauge of 1/2" and 1" in length. I can find the staples but I have not been able to locate a staple gun. Would any of you have a source for such a thing? I've looked at Home Depot, Menards, and Lowes as well as the internet. Here's are pictures of what I am doing. The second one is the staple I'm looking for.

Hi QuietWater,
Harbor Freight has just about everything. The stores you mention will not order the gun for you? Try Googling what you need.

Have you thought of renting a Nail Gun, the hardware stores you mentioned should have small nails for the nail gun. Don't know if that would substitute the staples effectively for you?
Good Luck.

That staple is shot form an air powered staple gun. Did you look at the air guns at Home Depot?

We have a few tool rentals shops near us, where I'm sure you could get one. Have you checked for local shops near you? I'm surprised HD and LOW don't have them.

You need a 20 or 22 gauge Air nail gun. You can get them at Lowes or home Depot.I had to get one to do repair work on some of the trim that kept falling down.
Good Luck

A trim gun from the aforementioned retailers will also do what you need. Sure, they're not staples but pin nails will do the same thing.

Ps: A little glue in the joints before shooting doesn't hurt.

Less than 30 dollars at Harbor Freight. They work great with a 1 gallon pancake compressor.

Buy a 16 gauge strait nail trim gun from Harbor Freight. It will shoot from one - two and a half inch nails, and that's all you need plus glue. The nails are better than staples to fill
in the heads after.
