Steering wheel switches

Hello all happy spring!

I have had my 2017 Dutchstar 4369 in for service at a freightliner dealer, going on one month for no power to cruse, windshield wipers, and courtesy flashers. I got new control module at a 3300 dollar guarantee fix witch did nothing. I'm bummed. Now its the switches on the wheel. I am all for paying for knowledge and repair . I'm in service work I understand. But guessing and replacing most expensive equipment first and learning at my expense leaves a bad taste. Sorry for the vent. Anyway can anyone point me in the right direction to ordering new switches. Is it a newgoogle thing or catalog. Thanks in advance

Had that happen on one of my Freightliner chassis and it turned out to be a large white connector too tightly zip tied to the steering wheel. So what would happen is each time I tilted the wheel, it would tug on the wire bundle going up the steering column. Eventually, after a few tugs, it would unplug enough items that I'd loose cruise and flashers.

Once I just climbed under there and watched as I'd put 2 & 2 together and realized it always happened after using the tilt, I saw the too tight wire bundle tugging on the connector whenever I tilted the wheel.

Two cut zip ties later, and a thorough contact cleaning, no more issue.

If they actually guaranteed replacing the control module would fix the problem I'd be talking to upper management about disputing the charge for the module and labor.
If they refuse that, then at least the incorrect diagnostic charge proving the module required replacement should be stricken from the bill.

Update to this post. I disputed the cost of the control module and they told me they would put my original one back in and send the new one back to freightliner I would pay the shipping and labor I agreed. They said they ordered the switches and they were backorder almost 2 months. I had enough I called freightliner directly told them the story. They said they would look into it and call me back. The next morning I received a call back from freightliner and they said the part was expected to be delivered to the service center the next day. And it was. Two days later I got a call saying the switches were installed and my coach was ready. Paid the 1,000 bill and went to drive away but comfort steer did not work. Annoyed I had no choice but to leave it there again. The next day the shop said they did not know what was wrong and they might be replacing the stringing column at a $8,000 price tag. I said absolutely not. They ask for one more day so they could talk to freightliner. The next day they said it was fixed. I asked what was the problem they said freightliner had to send them a file to flash the controller and it fixed it. Another bill for $800 and its over. I am new to moterhoming it. I hope can enjoy it for awile before anymore repairs.
