Steps after retracted clicking noise

We just got a call this morning from our storage center where our steps after they were retracted in were making a clicking noise. We were also told when our RV was put away in storage the steps needed help to retract. Our house batteries were low because Freightliner did some work on the RV and didn’t turn off the house batteries so we need to give them a good charge. They were only at 10.2V when we parked the RV at storage.

Thoughts on the clicking noise coming from the steps after retracted? Do the steps run off house or chassis batteries?

Thanks!

It could be a stuck switch or stuck solenoid. That would drain the battery, and the clicking could be due to the low battery.
You didn't park this and turn everything off yourself? sounds like it's time to visit the rig and make certain hunky-dory. Check things out for yourself.
OTH, it's almost time to start getting ready for spring breakout!

Thanks! House switch was turned off but we left chassis on so we could monitor and see if another issue we were having was fixed with chassis and just had storage center turn off chassis batteries. They were fine when we parked it on Friday.
Do you know if the steps run off chassis or house batteries?
Was thinking the same thing, maybe a switch stuck. Which solenoid are you referring to which could be stuck? Sorry, new to all of this and we learned during our last trip our chassis charge bridge solenoid could be out since our chassis batteries would charge via shore power. Have an appointment to get this fixed. Recently just had our chassis batteries replaced which helped keeping charge. Why I referenced in the beginning we left chassis on so we can monitor via Rozie to see if batteries were increasing in charge while plugged in.

Steps are tied to chassis batteries.
