Stereo wiring harness for 1999 Dutch Star

so I'm in the process of updating / upgrading my 1999 dutch star. we are going away from the sony to a JVC and I cannot find the wiring harness anywhere for this (at least I cannot seem to find information on what to get).

any thoughts on how to find the specific wiring harness ... and then thinking of adding a remote control to the steering wheel ...

thanks
Daniel

you will get a harness with the new radio. And then you connect that to the old wiring.

Speaker wires, Power, Ground, Ignition (switched power), camera feed, GPS antenna typically.

Its pretty easy. Any car audio store can install in an hour.

yes I received new harness with the new radio, but wanted to get a harness that matches the 1999 Newmar so that I can then solder the wires at the kitchen table versus trying to do it inside the RV itself.

my friend used to do installs, so he is going to complete things ... I just have to get the hardware

You won't get the vehicle side. This is about 15 minutes of work to connect all. You could use solderless connectors to to bring it to 10 minutes.
