Storing our DS for weeks?

When we store our DS 4369 for weeks in the outdoor storage center, do we dump the air or keep it on? We were not planning to put the jacks down in storage.

This was not covered in our walk through. Thanks!

If you don't dump the air, it will typically start to leak down after awhile. Some leak down in a few days, some may take weeks. This all depends on how tight all of your air fittings are. There are many fittings from the dash to the engine and you'll always have some that leak a little.

Whenever we come home from a trip, (park alongside our house) I cover the tires, mirrors and wiper blades, turn off the Oasis and plug in the coach. Once this is all done, I dump the air (no jacks).

So.....to answer your question, dump the air when you're storing the coach.

According to the chassis makers, either way, it does not matter. I always store with air down.

We never air down but it eventually dumps itself within a week

I store for months... and always air down, jacks down, slides out, remove wipers and connected to 30amps.

Since I have my own rv garage and live in the desert, I don't need to cover anything nor do I add any diesel additive....I just make sure it's full before storing.

I always dump air with or w/o jacks. Where I store it is a long back in with many turns and my tag is dumped. Dumping the air in the tag is easier on the tires in tight turns but I wouldn't just park it that way & wait for all the air to leak out naturally (mine will hold air for maybe 6-10 days). Don't think it's great to just leave coach with that much weight on the drive since the tag has been dumped. IMO it would be best to dump all air springs after parking especially if tag has been dumped.
