Strut for HWH Steps

When I was parking the coach in storage last night (2021 Super Star), noticed this strut peeking out from under the HWH steps. there are two on the step cover (left and right). this one was from the right side apparently.. any tricks to getting this back in place? It appears this is to assist the fold down cover that flips down/up when the steps are extended/retracted.

These gas struts have a ball & socket connection on each end. Ensure the socket ends still have their spring steel retainer clips on them- line up the socket over the ball & push hard to snap the ball onto the socket. Do this on each end. To remove- take a small straight screwdriver & lift up the spring steel clip in the middle while lifting the socket off of the ball.

Happy Trails
