Substituting hose on hose reel for Sanicon hose

Hi. I have a new coach with the Sanicon 700 Turbo.

Recently I was at a campground with the sewer connection too far for the standard 21 foot Sanicon "slinky" hose, so I used a 3/4" garden hose as the Sanicon is designed to allow you to do.

Got me thinking -- why not install a second electric hose-reel on the coach like the one I have for the fresh water hose and discontinue use of the annoying slinky hose entirely?

I'd figure out a fitting so the hose would connect right at the Sanicon -- no more fragile, expensive, and annoying slinky hose. A good commercial-grade garden hose would be much tougher, and I'd probably provision my hose reel with a 50 foot hose to be ready for all occasions.

Opinions please?

Gravity drain wouldnt work unless the entire hose was let out and all downhill.

I have used the hose when necessary, and found that the time to drain a tank was too long for a every day usage.

I have a cheap protector on my Sanicon hose and it has been problem free.

My $0.02

On our 18 London Aire we have used a additional 3/4 hose on our 700 system when we needing to reach sewer connection. At this point very pleased with Sanicon 700 system but will recommend using a sleeve over your hose. Remember the 3 important suggestions on our RV black and grey tanks water, water, and more water when using your Newmar.
