On my previous Sprinter chassis they worked great for taking the roll out. But they added more road feedback and a noticeable rougher ride when on mildly bumpy roads. I would do it again though, the stability from the sway reduction made the harsher ride worth it.

Lots of reading here:

Cheap and easy way to put a stop to the body roll without impacting the ride in a negative way.

I have a 34' Bay Star Sport, and love the Sumos. I wish I would have done them sooner.

What year and weight is your chassis? I have front and rear sets I just took off mine (2017 Bay Star Sport 20500 lb chassis) that are barely a year old. May be selling my motorhome so I'm parting out the extras I bought for it. The fronts sumos are SSF-170-40-2 and the rears are SSR-187-54-1. PM me if interested.

Search the Ford chassis group for handling mods.

After our trip this past spring to the Midwest, the Indiana and Ohio highways convinced us to invest in suspension upgrades. We did the CHF, Safe-T-Plus, and Sumo Springs. Our Canyon Star rides and handles like a different coach. In our opinion it was money well spent even though our travels this summer have been limited to NC, SC, TN, and Georgia. Next spring new shocks. This still hasn’t deterred Becky from window shopping for a new Ventana. I’m trying to stay far away from NIRVC in Atlanta. Safe Travels.

Just added Front and Rear SumoSprings to our 32' 2018 Bay Star and it definitely helps with roll. The 32' Bay Star is on a relatively short wheelbase chassis with a decent amount of rear overhang so stability is a bit challenged. I expected to do the upgrades I performed to make a more pleasing drive for my wife who frequently travels to Dog Shows solo in the Bay Star while towing a HondaFit.
We have had the Bay Star less than 6 months and as stated planned to make changes from the beginning so we factored that into our purchase decision. Since my wife drives solo, I did not do mods one at a time to gauge relative improvement and went full monty as soon as we took possession of the coach (Added Steering stabilizer, Upgraded Front Anti-Sway Bar, Added Rear Anti-Sway Bar, Added Rear TracBar, Added Front and Rear SumoSprings, Added 5 Star Tune).
We average 10,000 miles a year on the coach and are now much happier with the improvement in how the coach handles and it is definitely noticeable, but honestly it was manageable from the factory. It is just much improved now.

I don't think the ones I have will fit that chassis.

Wait, 22.5k? On a 30 ft coach? Did you mean 20.5k?

I hope to order a Bay Star in October and I'm looking into suspension mods. While I can see the wisdom of "Check out the ride first before you go nuts with the mods" it seems like the SumoSprings are a no-brainer though.
I still kinda want to just do EVERYTHING possible to make driving a 3401 or 3226 as easy as possible.
