Surface Scratches

Does anyone have a miracle surface scratch remover? I have tried a few off the shelf products, but have met with no success? The paint on my 2013 DS seems to be very soft, very susceptible to scratches.

Have you tried Scratch-X? Most auto stores will have it. Be careful with any "scratch remover" as they usually contain a fine abrasive that can wear through the finish if not used carefully.

This is what I use for fine swirls http://www.meguiars.com/en/automotiv...timate-polish/ with a dual action buffer. This polish does very little cutting so not much chance of doing damage to paint. Mequiars also has Ultimate Compound if the Polish does not remove as needed. Requires waxing after use.

Newmar recommends Lambswool for washing to reduce chance of swirls. You can find products here https://goclean.com/mm/ProductUsesCa...&UseCat=ProdRV.

My Ventana has what I consider to be very soft paint also. When I bought it new it had sit on the lot for some time and had probably been washed numerous times. It had a lot of spider webs in the paint especially on the dark colors. I bought a Porter Cable buffer and used a two step process to polish the entire coach. It took me about four weeks to do it working around four hours per day five or so days per week. The scratches are gone and the coach shines much better than before.
