Ensure all bushings, ride heights, wear items, tire inflation, and weights and alignment are correct before adding anything aftermarket. The CHF is a good thing to do. Some sort of steering dampener is good mainly from a safety perspective, but should not be used to correct a handling problem. After all this then a rear track bar may be a good thing, especially on the long rear overhang fords.

IMHO.

tail wag on 35 ft dutchstar gasser

Work is all done. The old girl is definitely sitting higher on the back with the extra leaf and the rework of the original springs. Also had them replace the bushings on the sway bar. There is now more weight to the front end of the rig and I noticed right away on cornering. It now digs into the corner without the wallow and roll that I had before. Will have to wait for a trip to really check it out but the short haul back to the house was enough to tell me there is a big difference. Will have to check my tow bar height now that it has been raised to make sure I am in tolerances for my toad - a little tracker. Thanks for all the advice.
