Taillights Out

2017 London Aire turn signals and brake lights were working fine but quit working after I plugged in the tow vehicle electrical cord. The lights all work on the dinghy when plugged in so I was able to drive but the coach lights didnít work when I disconnected. Weird! Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Since all of these lights are controlled by the PDM…you may have a problem at the umbilical cord connector….check grounds, spray inside contact with dialectic cleaner followed by dialectic lube

ďFreightliner has had an ongoing recall for a Power Distribution Module (PDM) for 2016 -2019 model years. The PDM is located against the back wall of the chassis battery bay, passenger side, rear. The module is the size of a cigar box and powers pretty much everything at the rear of the coach. This includes, taillights, brake lights, running lights, A/C clutch and possibly tag axle operation. ď

Sincere thanks. I did clean the umbilical connector with contact cleaner and weirdly again the coach lights worked fine today prior to connecting up the dinghy. After connecting up the umbilical cord both the coach and dinghy lights all worked fine. Since the rear coach lights didnít work 3 days ago and now work fine I believe your suggestion about the PDM may in fact the cause for intermittent failure.
I appreciate your help.
