"TC" Dash message on Freightliner

Had a short trip back from tailgating yesterday and got a light on the far left side of the Freightliner dash. TC with a tire tread symbol was flashing intermittently while doing 60 mph for 15 miles. No warning bells, no check engine lights. All tires were normal temp/pressure. Only 1 year old and 9,000 miles.

According to the Freightliner app the dash light symbol is:

"Automatic Traction Control (ATC) Indicator - The ATC indicator illuminates during wheel spin and when ATC system is inactive."

Roads were dry and no ice in Fort Lauderdale. I will give FL tech support a call later today to enquire. I don't plan on driving again for a couple of weeks to see if it is maybe a one time random message.

Anyone else experience this?

Have you checked the ATC switch? Perhaps you hit it by accident.

Well that is embarrassing. You are correct. I have not driven in conditions that required disabling the ATC so the button right next to the driver window control did not come to mind. I just went to storage to check and that had to be the issue. It is a momentary rocker switch and it reactivates after turn the key off. I did roll down the window when departing so I must have hit that switch as well.

To quote the great philosopher Rosanne Rosanna Danna - "Never Mind".

Thanks again Pavetack.
