Cool Tecma Macerating Toilet

Need help with a problem with Tecma toilet, the red and yellow lights blinking every time I flush it. Manual say low voltage which I am not seeing on all readouts in motor home. I just replaced all by house batteries so I know that is not the problem. Anyone have had a problem with circuit breaker causing voltage drop or any other problem that does same thing?

Thanks,
Terry

I'd access the wiring behind the wall and test voltages as you flush....they WILL drop when that food chopper spins. But how much is normal? Probably will need to open up the housing and check for debris of some kind....those sani-wipes are not friendly to a macerator. Finally, are you sure blinking lights are not a normal function? Have you called the mfr?

I have not contacted manufacture yet but will on Monday; normal for voltage drop as unit flushes but lights should not blink. This is a new problem and I don't think there is servicing I can do to grinder. No Sani wipes have been put in toilet to my knowledge..

Thanks for reply!

Ours use to do what you are describing. In our case it was the tecma sensors on the black tank. The sensors are external to the black tank and sense thru the wall. If crud builds up on inner tank wall it will do the flashing and alternating lights at inside control panel. My solution was to re-position the Tecma sensors and install a new internal tank flusher next to the black tank sensors and grey ones. Have not had a problem since that mod. Grey and black tank levels are now accurate.

Good Luck!
