This may be the wrong place to post this, but since most of what I am referring to has occured on this forum I chose to put it here.
I am constantly amazed at the selflessness and helpfulness of the readers of this forum. Throughout my illness, I have received many offers of assistance, both in open threads and private ones. People who only know me by my posts have offered to help, some from hundreds of miles away.
There may be other forums out there, but irv2 is my home, why would I go elsewhere?
Thank you all again. I am proud to be a member of such a caring community.
Mark

Maybe it's that smell of diesel in the morning that makes us all care about each other. Get well soon so you can play with your new toy.

Mark, I too echo your sentiment of the "amazing iRV2 community" as I myself have been amazed at the response from the members. I must tell you I've received THREE pm's and two emails from iRV2 members, just in the last 12 hours since being here in Atlanta.
I must also tell you that,as a result of a post I made with regard to the troubles with my Vectra, I was contacted personally by someone and the issues were addressed.
Warpath and I have said for many months that this web site is on the "edge" of something great. We're always searching for "new and improved" ways of doing things evidenced by an announcement in the not too distant future of a new and improved classified section. Bill has been making improvements to the photo section, yet we're still being troubled there by hackers, which for the time being means we keep the controls on the approval method....We're working on a solution.
Still....it is YOU MEMBERS that make this site the best for me. I've made several very good friends here that I now cherish their friendship.
Thank each and every one of you for your support.

I whole-heartedly agree. The irv2 community is the best around by far. Everyone here cares & is eager to help, whether you're new or a long time rv-r or whether the question is new or been asked a hundred times.
Dave & I have definitely benefitted from the expertise & advise we have received. We only hope to be able to return the favor as we gain wisdom (some from trial & error)& pass it along. We've made lifelong friends through irv2 that, I'm sure, we'll continue to enjoy long after we're too old to rv anymore (is that even a possibility?).
I know you're a modest guy, but THANKS, Bill, for creating irv2 & THANKS to all the irv2 community. You're the greatest.

Doc Mark, thanks for the kind words. When I first found IRV2 it was much smaller, but growing with a lot of very enthuasic members. Alosng the way, we have met lot of people that I feel are life long friends. With the Oklahoma and Texas Boomer groups, a particular type of closeness is felt.
If any IRV2 member is in the area, my wife and I are always available to help or just meet to discuss the weather.

Yup...docMark is right - this is a great group. We're pretty new but find most of the answers to our questions without even asking...just read the posts on the various catagories.
Thanks Cuz -for putting us in touch with this gang! Now that we have the "new" Dutchmen we'll even have some travel pics and adventures to share with others!

I have to concur with all that has been posted regarding IRV2 and its members.
I enjoy this site over one of the other larger rv forum sites because of the friendly and informative atmosphere on this site.

Besides my email, there is no other site that I log into on a pretty much daily basis, just to see what is happening. Birds of a feather I guess. This is a teriffic site, and has helped me learn a lot in a short amount of time. Thanks to all.
