I just arrived back in sunny Florida. Wow, the Jets Man is back. Tag teamed with the numbers man Lane, they seem to be building to the ultimate, The Three Amigos! I feel somewhere they are hinding the "Vicar", the final part to complete the "3". The Vicar, when not finding out the real, whole truth, is the Chuckster.

"There is something happening here. There is a man with a bun over there." Oh, it's just a Bar-B-Q.

"Amigos Go Wild" coming to a local campground near you.

Here is what I have been doing as this forum has been relatively so quiet for a while, at least on the lighter (meaning tom foolery) side. I had to come home for the wild turkey season and try to harvest a real tom with my bow. Yesterday was the opener and I am happy to relate that I got a 21 1/2 lb. prize after several dry years. I sent the photo to the other amigos, but since Paul can't figure out how to get it posted on this site (still waiting for the Key West shots) I figured it would be in better taste for the anti-hunting members of this forum not to request posting it.

Meanwhile, good doctor, I am still waiting for a public announcement of the results of our first annual regatta between Cypress Woods and River Bend. You will notice that I did not disclose it even though I was Master of Ceremonies of the whole challenge.

Congrats on your "find" and if there's ever an issue with getting something posted here, email it to me at bgregory@irv2.com and I'll have it up same day...

Sounds like everyone is doing well.... I survived the "mini" birthday bash my lady friend held for me and I'm pressing onward a year older.

Been house "hunting" over here and it seems south Floridians really love these "summer kitchens" and as such I've gotten some nice ideas.

Congratulations Bob on the birthday. And from all reports from those who have gotten to visit you in person over the winter, you are enjoying a great time in your life. Keep up all of the positive things you are doing .... you deserve it. Next year your friends over our way like Murray and Nancy, etc. expect to have a visit.

Just don't get too far removed from the wonderful experience of part time travel these rvs offer.

Happy Birthday Bob.

Chuck I only wish we had photos of the gathering with the Cyprus Woods gang at the RiverBend sailoff. They brought their yacht club over to challenge our RB fleet. They pretty well trimmed our clock too, but we had a great time. They actually changed into pirate costumes and then proceeded to trash our ships as they sailed about.
This is all to co-ordinate a full tournment next season where the sailboat racing will alternate between RiverBend and Cyprus Woods, building to the grand Florida Cup near seasons end. Only one boat can win, only one club can win.
Chuck, by the way, accompanied the pirate bunch over here and also acted as the travelling master of ceremonies. And a great job he did.
More later.........

Peter

Peter, I believe Cyprus is the Greek Island, but CYPRESS the tree is the one where Chuckwagon lives....

By the way.... speaking of boats, the scuttlebutt is pretty strong that Tiger and Family are headed from Augusta to their 155 footer for some R and R.

Rick, I went to a friend's farm here in my home state, but a few years ago when I really had the fever, I hunted 5 states in one spring season. As far as fishing, I enjoy it too, but not at the same level as when I tournament fished a bit.. now it is less seldom and most often for rock fish.

I am sorry we did not get to meet and visit with you when you came to River Bend. Look forward to next year or a rally perhaps. Best wishes.

That cwg is such a stud....

Chuck, my neighbors here in Juno are selling their "winter" home in favor of heading back full-time to your "home state" as their grand youngins are pulling at the heart strings....
As I recall, she's not too far from where you call home....

Seems there's a famous event they've missed for several years as well and they're looking forward to catching it again...

The sad news is their house isn't large enough for me, but I think we're on another "track" with that regard.

Say, with your hunting expertise, can you come here and "dispatch" a pesky woodpecker before he eats the front window clear out of this house?

I have been known to lend out one of the best firearms in my inventory... a precision German air rifle with a parallax-free 2-7X scope. Woody woodpecker wouldn't have a chance. Just kidding, folks.

Bob, That great steak house you speak of in Juno, is that Barry Moore's?
