The last year for London Aire?

Can someone tell me when was the last year that Newmar built the London Aire coach? I have one parked near me in a RV Park and he says it's a 2008...It is truely a beautiful coach. If I remember correctly they only built very few of them during the last go around with them.

It probably was 2008. Early 2008 model year, as in late 2007 build date. Pretty sure there weren't any in 2009 or after. Beautiful, but very heavy. Not much cargo capacity.

I believe there were only 11 or 12 built and Newmar lost their shirt on them as they were not built on the assembly line.

The true cost to the manufacturer is not known until the warranty expires and there were a lot of warranty costs on the LADB.

Dirk,
The one near me has a second owner. What kind of warranty did they have? Was it two years? He's had it for a short time and he said it had issues when he bought it and it's got more now! The original owner told him that Newmar would make good for the problems and fix them. My question is on who's nickel, his or Newmars?

Might be Bob Gregory's LADB, I believe it was resold through North Trail in Fort Myers.

This one came out of the Atlanta, GA area and was bought out of an estate where the owner passed away. It only has 11.5k miles on it. Nice coach! He's going to the Newmar pre rally prior to the FMCA Rally in Redmond, OR. They are suppose to fix some stuff for him there. He has quite a list. Some issues were in the coach when he bought it.

Saw it at the Newmar International pre-rally and at Redmond, Newmar did do a bunch of work on it. A really impressive coach, really impressive given the rumored price that was paid for it.

Saw the one in Petoskey at the first of the month. I thinks there was 2 for 2008. I saw three in for service at Newmar on August 12th , one of which was Bob's old coach. The new owners are razorback fans.

There's one parked right now at Quinte Isle Campground in Ontario, Canada, with Qubec plates and a Belanger RV (Ottawa Ontario) dealer sticker on it. It's travelling with 2 Prevost's and a Country Coach. Nice convoy!!!! We pulled out this morning with our Mountain Aire MACA.
