Tipping tech at Newmar Service Center?

Does anyone know what is customary for tipping the service tech when in for warranty work? Thanks

Tipping is not required nor expected, that said, I have several times tipped the technician when they did a great job. When we did factory pickup our tech was a young guy and did an outstanding job and then again this past summer when we were there for some additional work. I did not tip the two times between because I felt the techs did not go above and beyond.

X2 - Sweet rolls - Give them to your tech and they make sure all the techs that may have worked on your coach get some.

Not a Newmar owner, but...
I never did tip at the dealers, but the techs that come to my house or storage area I always do ! In fact, yesterday I gave the two detailing our coach a $50 tip

I tipped the tech who did our CPU delivery a $100. I appreciated his close scrutiny and efforts. YMMV

I have heard on the forum that Rise n Roll is referred to as Amish Crack. So, if you want to say thanks without making your tech uncomfortable, this is a good choice. If you give to the lead he will give to the group. Tech gets bragging, and bosses notice where they may never know about a tip.

Donuts are nice but cash is king and I guarantee that uncomfortable feeling will last until the green is in the techs pocket and they’re back to work while the appreciation will last much longer.

If I want the boss to be aware I’ll tell them how great their employees are and follow that up with an email.

Tipping is not expected at the factory Service Center, but it is appreciated.

We did at both the factory pickup and at 1 yr warranty service. Also did the donut thing both times too.

Never would have even thought about it. But I don't tip my auto mechanic or refrigerator repair person either.
