Tire and Wheel Insurance

Do any of you have tire and wheel insurance ? We have been looking at several and just wondering if any of you have it. With tires being so expensive and wheels, too, we thought maybe we should get it. It covers our tow car too. $429 for 7 yrs.

It's insurance...only good if you get it, else it's too expensive. I didn't get it casue I didn't think it was worth it. I could be wrong.

My experience with blown tires on when we had a 5th wheel was the tire company paid for the tire and damages to the 5th wheel and I turned in several tires that were shredded. Im guessing to avoid lawsuits and not, as they said, out of extreme good customer relations. Trailer tires are notoriously terrible tires. However, it was true also with a F250 rear tire delamination on a 5 year old tire with 55000 miles. I cant tell you if Michelin will repeat that good will on bigger equipment. I hope to not find out.

I ve seen a number of motor coaches with blown tires on the road side and shops. Let's hear from people with blown motor coach tires.

Yes, yes and yes! Well worth the money. We bought it for our Class A and it cost $899.00 for 5 years. Shortly after a year we found and nail in our tire. We called the company and the tire cost $783.00, and installed at my house the total coast was $915.00. One event and the policy paid for itself. The roads in America and the debris you will encounter will, not if, cause a tire and wheel problem. We are so glad we bought the policy. Money well spent.
