It's insurance...only good if you get it, else it's too expensive. I didn't get it casue I didn't think it was worth it. I could be wrong.
My experience with blown tires on when we had a 5th wheel was the tire company paid for the tire and damages to the 5th wheel and I turned in several tires that were shredded. Im guessing to avoid lawsuits and not, as they said, out of extreme good customer relations. Trailer tires are notoriously terrible tires. However, it was true also with a F250 rear tire delamination on a 5 year old tire with 55000 miles. I cant tell you if Michelin will repeat that good will on bigger equipment. I hope to not find out.
I ve seen a number of motor coaches with blown tires on the road side and shops. Let's hear from people with blown motor coach tires.
