Tire Valve Cores

I want to carry some spare tire valve cores. It is better to just carry the nickel plated cores or do I need to worry about nickel and or brass? My outside valves all look to be aluminum. The inside valves are on flexible extensions.

Thanks

Buy cores with the red band = high pressure cores. The material doesn't matter unless exposed to water.
