Tires

I am considering 6 Firestone FS561 tires. They are 18 ply with a load factor J. Has anyone had this tire? What's your experience?

I have Firestone FS561 275 70 R22.5 tires on my MH and are very happy with them.

If they are indeed a load range J tire then they are 20 ply rather than 18 ply.

Happy Trails

The Firestone literature says they are 18 ply with a load factor of J and a speed rating of L. They are Firestone FS561 275/70R22.5's.

If you’re a member of FMCA you can take advantage of their tire discount program. A month ago I got the Continental HSR2 and save $$

In response to your question ..most manufacturers are now making the 275/70R22.5 in an 18 ply (Load Range J). 10 years ago 275/70R22.5 was made as a 16ply (LRH) but today, almost all manu make as an 18 ply. There are a still a couple of manufactures that produce as a a 16ply tire.
Hope this answers your question and safe travels to you family
