Tires
We purchased a new 2019 Ventana in Dec. 2019...it had perhaps 2700 miles on it from delivery and perhaps to RV shows. It now has about 9,500 miles on it and my wife just noticed that on the front and outside rear tires, the tread is almost bald on the outside (center still has plenty of tread). We were told rig was in alignment when we picked it up 1.5 years ago....seems like something is amiss...any thoughts.

Sounds like your not running the right air pressure.
Have you weighed your coach when loaded as you plan to travel? Easy to do - download the CATScale app to your phone, load up the coach including a full tank of gas and take it to a nearby truck stop that has a CATScale.
Get the front and rear axle weights of the coach. Then find the weight versus tire pressure chart for your tires. Fill tires to the pressure determined from that chart.
Check tire cold air pressures before every trip.

Even wear on the inner and outer edges of a tire, means it's been running underinflated. In such a short time (mileage) your tires sound like they're waaay underinflated. You can increase the air pressure, but they'll continue to wear, as tires scuff off rubber faster than they wear off rubber, meaning that even though you increase the pressure, the edges will scuff along since they won't be in contact with the pavement.

I have been running 120 psi on the rear tires and 125 to 130 psi on the front which is the pressure Newmar recommends. I also have a TPMS that checks tire pressure before and during every trip. Think I will take rig to a truck tire store and also get their input. Thanks for your input and the other inputs to my post.

Can you post a picture of the label by the drivers chair? I agree, pressures mentioned seem too high.

That’s a lot of tire pressure for a 31K Lb coach. You say Newmar recommends this?

I run 110 in the fronts and 95 in the rears based on 4 corner weight and Michelin tire charts. My tires are the same as yours (assuming Mich XZ 275/70) and are 6 years old, 45000 miles, 27000 since last June, and are wearing evenly, with more than enough tread to make 7 years.
At the pressures you stated your tires are over inflated but you have wear on the outside of the tires which doesn’t make sense. Hard to say what is wrong because the facts seem backwards. And there isn’t much that can go wrong with the alignment absent damage. Can you post a pic of the tire wear?
Also doesn’t make sense that Newmar would recommend those pressures. Maybe someone at a dealership that doesn’t know what he’s doing? 120psi is for max load dual and 130 is for max load single on these tires. You aren’t anywhere near max load on theses tires. You would have to weigh 39,400lbs to justify those pressures and that would exceed the axle ratings by 4,000lbs.
But that still doesn’t explain wear on the outside of the tread....

Your pressure is way too high. If newmar told you to run that, they are morons.

When I took delivery of our Kountry Star we had pressures in 120/130 range. I think the factory reverts to "max tire pressure" as I recall from the label in the coach.
After corner weighing at North Trail we decided on 105 front/90 rear.
What is funny (not really) is 6 months later I took it back to North Trail for 6,000 mile service. They said I needed a minor front end alignment. When I left the service center to bring it home I forgot to turn on the TPMS until a few miles down the highway. Alarms everywhere. North Trail put all my tires back to the max pressure after alignment. And they were the ones that did the corner weigh and recommendation months earlier.
However, as already noted by another reply - this max inflation does not sound like a problem that would create the wear that you described.

Just to clarify the outside tire wear. Do you mean the two outside treads on each tire or just the very most outside tread on each tire?
Perhaps a picture of the actual wear on the tires would be helpful.

Thanks to all who have responded... we will be out of town for my wife's surgery for several weeks, so I will be unable to provide a picture at this time. The tire wear is between the last outside deep tire tread and the outside edge of that portion of the tire that hits the road. I thought that perhaps the tire got out of alignment on the front tires, but the back outside tires have the same wear. This wear is on both front tires and both outside tires on the back. Did not check the inside rear tires. ... also this is the first time someone has advised that the Newmar pressure settings may be too high for the Michelin tires...clearly need a tire company to advise me here. In any event...sure appreciate this forum!

I wish your wife and you the very best.
Please let us know when you are back on here. I'd like to see those pictures and I'm sure some others would as well.
