Tires at FL factory service center

Time for new tires. I have gone to the Factory Service Center every year since 2005 for annual service and warranty work on various coaches I have owned. (I sure miss Pat since she retired) Has anyone purchased their tires from Snider Tires and had them mounted at the FL factory service center in Gaffney? Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks

I was one year ahead of you replacing tires. I had two that were wearing funny so I replaced them last year. I used Snider Fleet Solutions out of Gastonia. They work with Gaffney all the time and Gaffney recommended them. When I ordered, tires were a crap shoot as to availability. Call Derick @ Cell 704 280 5092 or Office 704-874-0426 to check availability. I ordered in December and had them installed in May. They were able to get the tires in shortly after I ordered and kept them stored for me until May. Dates were late 2021. Their normal prices then were better than the FMCA discount which they work with also. Snider delivered them midday on my first day of service and Gaffney installed them the next day. I had Gaffney do the mounting, balance, an alignment, and four corner weigh. I had arranged for a two day appointment to cover everything. I paid Snider for the tires and Gaffney for mounting. All-N-All a very positive experience. I'll second about Miss Pat although Miss Willey is getting better.

I did this very thing last year. Had the tires brought in and have Gaffney replace my wheels while they were at it. Easy peasy.

South Carolina, not Florida.


And FL can refer to Freightliner.

In this scenario, “FL” was being used to indicate “Freightliner” service center. The Gaffney SC Freightliner service center is an expert in the “Custom Chassis” that is used on many coaches.

I use Gaffney exclusively. Great information on tires, will consider that when my time comes. I am at exactly 3 years of ownership, about 21,000 miles, so I have a few more years before I am ready.

The custom Freightliner chassis’s is built in Gaffney South Carolina. They have a service shop owned and operated by Freightliner.

So if you have a Freightliner chassis and are close to the area, either live or pass through annually, its a great place to get service.

Who better to service the chassis other than the ones who built your chassis.

Although other Newmar models have the same engine they do not service them, only Freightliner chassis.
