Toilet not flushing
Hi, the toilet in my half bath will not operate to flush. After pressing wall button, the water will fill in the bowl, then nothing...doesn’t open to tank, water stays in bowl .....any ideas?
Thank you

As with many things on these coaches, often turning off the 12 volt switch at the front door will rest whatever is not working. Turn off the switch, wait the count of ten and then turn back on.
I've never had issues like yours with mine, so I don't know what the next step would be if the reset doesn't work.
There is a black box controller that operates the toilets (one each). My half bath on my 2014 was attached to the pegboard wall. I haven't hunted down my 2019 half bath one yet. They have been attaching then to the back of the toilet, at least in my master bath.
Here is a photo the black box. The second is what it looks like inside. It has some dip switches that allow for water bowl quantity.

Thx Don,
Tried the 12V switch...nothing
Thinking to replace the control box, It’s not visible on the pegboard on my 2017?
Diagram indicates possibly behind pegboard. Anyone with 2017 know where control box is? Where would I be able to buy another control module.
Looking for fuses.....Fuse panel has “power stool” b1 & B2. Different fuse than others. Don’t know if this is related.
Manual for the Dometic 8700 master flush is not helpful in my opinion
Thx

I had the same problem with my toilet. I had to replace the valve. Amazon has them.

On ours, there is a knob you can turn. It's behind the toilet, slow, and awkward but might get you to a permanent solution if there's one on yours and need to use the toilet in the interim.

It may be the motor - is it possible something has been flushed that could have stopped the motor - or perhaps a defective motor.?
New motors are about $300 - not too difficult to change out yourself.

I could get access to the controller behind the pegboard by just removing the black plastic trim panel located above the pegboard. All the screws on mine were square drive type. Reach over the pegboard with your hand to grab the non-attached controller. The wires were long. I don't have any idea if this is your problem, just suggesting a possible way to get access.

I also had this issue. I switched the black control boxes from my half and full baths to eliminate the box being the issue. Once that was done and proven not to be the issue I thought maybe there could be a dead spot in the pump motor. I reached around the back of the toilet and squeezed the black hose so it would move the pump motor and the pump started. The pump worked fine for a couple weeks until the motor stopped in that position again. I’ve since changed it and carry it as a spare.

Thx all for the tips on my commode. Unfortunately can’t find any knob in back to turn, and the black hose squeezing didn’t work, found the control box. But, I’m not very handy to deal with the wiring?
The motor sounds like it may be. When we took our coach to Newmar for the warranty fixes in 2018, we complained about the awful loud noise the toilet made while flushing...of course, Newmar said it was normal, we should have insisted at that time. But the only thing we could get rightly fixed were the shades.
Have called some RV mobile repairers...they either don’t call you back, stating they are very busy on voicemail, or on vacation...geez.
Good thing we have 2 Toilets! Could be a while before we get someone out to the park...leave it to SoCal!

Hey Ed - usually when it begins making a noise it's time to replace the motor before it fails. Then you can replace the motor while the water is clean. It really is an easy repair. There are 2 lag bolts holding the commode in place. then it's a matter of unplugging the 12v connector - disconnecting the water hose - and then some hose clamps. The pump is about $300. The first motor I purchased from Domestic - the second time online.
