The reason I clean my tanks with Pinesol is to keep the inside wall of the tank clean so as to not interfere with the sensor. Sludge on the inside wall will foul the sensor reading.

When I was at the Tampa RV show I asked a Newmar rep if the DSDP 4018 could have a gravity toilet in the half bath and was told no.
