We took delivery on our 4301MADP on 12/5. What a unit. Its just awsome.We picked it up in Hornell, NY drove south on US 15. I don't think it lost over 5 mph on the hills or mountains. The 400 cummins did a super job. Can't wait until we head south. Have a lot reading to do so we can learn how to operate all the new gadets.
Thanks for all of your suggestions and input taht was given in Sept. before we ordered this unit.
Merry Christmas to you all

I have visited the factory. I had a 2000 DSDP and we saw it being assembled in Dec 1999. We very very impressed with the factory tour. It was well worth the trip.

To; JoJim;

Congrats and good luck with your new MADP> I have an 02 MADP and they are nice, quality units. It will have bugs to be worked out, but with time it gets almost perfect. I assume that you lose speed on hills is because it's not broken in, My unit maintains same speed ,towing or not, but I always use cruise control,which lets computer do whatever to keep speed constant.

I have always used synthetic oil in all my rigs, better constant viscosity, runs cooler, improves performance etc. Yes, it costs more, but you have a $300,000 plus investment here so whats an extra $100.00 once a year or 18.000 miles, ???? 400 hp ,Cummins ISL. I started using synthetics at 3,500 miles, engine and transynd in tranmission.. Less friction, less wear..

Again , GOOD LUCK and happy motoring..

Thanks---- AJBJRVERS

JoJim, Congratulation on the purchase of your Newmar Mountain Aire, I know of the dealer where you purchased your coach.
Bring the motorhom down to sunny Florida and you'll really enjoy it. Ed.S
P.S. Don't forget to join the Newmar Kountry Klub if you haven't already.
