Since no one has responded since yesterday, I will stick my neck out and respectfully ask some questons.
For what engine?
Who did you buy these expensive oil pan bolts from?
Why do you think the oil leaks were caused by the bolts?
The Engine manufacturer should have the pan bolt torque specs.

It's a ISL 400,, the isolators on the bolts( thick rubber washers) are missing .. They seal the bolt holes and push up on the oil pan.. I can see the oil dripping down the bolt.. As for the expensive bolts.. Purchased through cummins south....
I contacted cummins customer care and spent almost a 1/2 hr on the phone with them.. All they could find is the oil plug torque..

Wow they are special bolts! I can see where if the rubber deteriorates they may not exert enough clamping force on your pan gasket.
Here is an interesting older thread on these bolts on the ISL engines. http://www.irv2.com/forums/f123/isl-...ts-117414.html
Have you thought about replacing the pan gasket also?
Cummins does have a service manual for the ISL. Look on on pages 310 to 312, in below listed PDF download link for torque spec of 20 ft-lb for composite pan and tighting sequence:
http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j...,d.cGU&cad=rja
Good Luck

Speedjester, did you join the Cummins Power Club? I believe you get a discount off parts with it.

Thanks everyone.. Got the torque specs...replaced the worst ones one by one.. Torquing each one as they were replaced... Started the rig and ran it for about 45minutes.. No leaks from the ones I replaced but the others are weeping.. So decided to change out the ones missing the rubber.. So I ordered another 14.... I really can't see how they justify $16+ a bolt..

Look at it this way you just saved yourself a lot of money by doing it your self. The labor cost to replace the bolts would have been significant.
Saw online where Cummins Northwest, Coburg Oregon, recommended replacing an ISL composite pan with a steel pan for a Country Coach RV. That was an interesting post.
Thanks for sharing this issue with the forum. Our education continues!

My oil pan (ISL 400) is rusting, 3 spots bulging out. Have started shopping but only found one place at $1200 !!! I also found a place that make stainless steel oil pans for $710.... Not interested in composite... Any ideas where to go for this?? Cummins part # 3974294 and gasket is #3973509.

You might want to consider having the pan repaired.. If the rusted areas are close..You might contact a fabrication shop and see if you can get them patched.. A good shop can repair them with little evidence..
