Total vision loss from driver side camera

I have a 2008 Essex and have suddenly developed an intermittent loss of picture from my driver side camera. Doesn't always correspond with using the turn signal, not just at high speeds. Sometimes the image is there for a second then is either blank or goes to another camera.
anyone have an easy fix? my repair shop reset the system but that hasn't worked.
thank you

check the connections to the box under the dash that the camera wires run into. They sometimes loosen. My passenger side started. doing that before it failed altogether. The dealer could not get the part in and schedule me for a month. I ordered a new camera and installed it myself.

To test switch the positions of the camera wires going to the box and see which one fails now. ?This will take a while. It will be faster to determine once the camera fails.

As an old airplane mechanic, always check that any grounds you can find are tight and no corrosion. Second idea: are the passenger and driver's side cameras reasonably easy to swap (assuming cameras are both the same)? If you swap them and the same side fails it's not the camera. If problem moves, then it probably is the camera. Also unplug any connectors in the circuit then plug them back in. The controller is also a suspect.
