Tow Rating Definitions

Rear hitch rating flat 10,000 lbs
Rear hitch rating trailer 5,000
Rear hitch rating vertical 500

Ratiings for the 360 on the 4002.

I interpret that as:
Flat towing?
Trailer towing (why only 5,000 lbs)?
Tongue weight?

Pretty sure that it relates to the vertical rating of 500 lbs. Typical recommended way to tow a trailer is to balance it out by putting 10% of the gross weight on the hitch...so if you had a 7500 lb GVW you would normally want 750 lbs on the tongue.
