Trace rv 2012 inverter

Inverter won't turn on Think power surge got it. Have 12 volts from house batteries to inverter. Talked to Newmar and by-passed inverter. Will genearator supply 110 with inverter removed? How to check inverter?

Welcome to the forum.
Yes Gen and shore power will supply 110 to your outlets and house batteries will supply the 12v needed for your control boards.
To keep the house batteries charged until you can get converter/inverter fixed use a 12v battery charger feeding out of a 110 outlet.
Be careful when disconnecting the inverter and reconnect.
In QT's # 3 there is information on inverters/converters used by Newmar.
A power surge may have effected your transfer switch also you need a Surge Protector to eliminate this problem.

This might be a stupid question but you sure all the breakers are set on the inverter. They can always seem to hide one around the corner or some stupid place. Just a thought. Jim
