Tranny?

Blew the tranny last Friday and am told I need a new one. Has anyone replaced theirs and what should it cost?

I have my MD3060 Allison 6-speed out of mine right now. I will be opening it up soon to go through it. I've had prices as high as $7,000.00-$8,000.00 for exchange, and $3,000.00-$4,000.00 for rebuild labour plus parts.
