That is an interesting idea, plumb the grey water to flush the maserator toilet. It would save fresh water and room in the gray tank. The half bath would be easy.

Instead of adding an additional gate valve on the end of my sewer line I cut off the existing "cap" and did a glue on gate valve. In my case the "add on" gate valve hung too low for me to want to travel with it attached.

I have been using one of these for several years. Open the grey tank valve a little to check for leaks, if none open completely then slowly open the black valve. You will see the water movement in the clear plastic cover. In places where you can dump grey water, without FHU, just attach a garden hose.
