Transfer switch problems

We have a 21 DS 4369 that we keep in storage 5/6 months during the winters that we spend at our home in Florida. The storage facility is 30 amp only and we stay plugged in all the time with only one air running at a time, which we rotate on a regular basis. When arriving yesterday the transfer switch was blinking rapidly and the power monitor was flashing on and off. I have a Southwire surge guard combo transfer switch. If I turn the power off for about 5 minutes it resets and works for about 3 minutes under load. The magnetic switch releases and cuts the power. I don't see any fluctuations in the power on my volt meter. The pedestal was checked and is fine (also ran to a different power source in an empty bay with the same results. I also use an external surge protector at the pole which is good also. I checked because I carry 2 just so if one gets fried I have a back up, switched them with the same results. Generator power works great no interruptions. Is there a way to check if it is the power switch or the board that I take it is the surge protector. Any suggestions are appreciated.

If you are safe doing so, with shore power disconnected, generator and generator autostart off) open the ATS and check for burned wires, loose connections or points that could be sticking.

Already did that. I had the box open to check the voltage on all the lugs and everything looks great. I also made sure all the lugs were tight. I have had multiple electrical issues with this coach with only 9000 miles on it. Too many to list. Covid coach. There is an electrical gremlin living somewhere in the coach

If your shore power cord is on a reel, check the points/contact in it.

Do a resistance (ohms) test for all 3 (30 amp) or 4 (50 amp) shore power cord as well as the 30 male to 50 female adapter.

Put a new plug on the cord and pulled the cord all the way out and checked the connection on it and it was tight and looked good. Will do the ohms/resistance test tomorrow. Thanks for your help

It sounds like the shore side contacts are bad. These Southwire SurgeGuards have had failures posted on here.

You can buy a new transfer switch or go with a replacement set of contacts. These are replacements for the model Newmar has been using. You have to pull the transfer switch, drill out the rivets that hold the contacts in and then bolt the new one in or rivet it again.

Thanks. From the research that I have done on the internet it seems like that the shore power transfer switch is bad. I am going to contact Southwire tomorrow and get their advice. But it looks like a replacement switch is in my future.

update

Alright here is the update. I checked everything that was suggested and still had the issue of the magnetic switch tripping after about 2 minutes. So I went to sleep last night and woke up with the idea of switching the pedestal power (30 amp) to the generator side of the the transfer switch as it has the same exact switch. Do my best thinking while I am asleep. Well It worked with no tripping of the transfer switch. It still had the 30 second delay to restore power but I stayed there a little over an hour with one air on as a load and it was perfect. Capped off the generator wires and turned the breaker off on the gen to make sure no accidental starts till I get the new switch to replace the defective one. Does anyone have an issue with this temporary fix? In looking at the switches there are 110 and 220 switches with the same numbers. Does anyone know if the rating in overall capacity or per leg on these switches. All advice is greatly appreciated.

As a temp. fix only with use of external surge protector. Just changed mine out due to a water leak above from black tank flush line that dealer did not drain correctly. On mine only the contactor for shore power has sensor wires for under/over protection.
