Traveler Direct TV
While watching TV, it was posted we had lost signal. I put the traveler down and when I put it back up the Wineguard box says No LBN voltage. Any ideas? We climbed on roof and all connections are secure.

Check your cable connection from the antenna base that goes up in the arm to the LNB. It could be just loose. Remove the connection at the base and clean the copper middle. Some members have reported that the copper middle has broken off. If it is still there then retighten it carefully. Watch the barrel connector and keep it from turning when you are retightening the connection. The next option is to replace that cable.

Check the SWM power supply in the front equipment cabinet. It should have a green light on if it is powered. It's cord is coiled up and plugged into one of the AC outlet. In- plug it for 20 sec and re-connect it. Also check the Cable connection marked ODU on it. If still does it work, check the AC outlet for power. If still no power the SWM may have to be replaced.

We sometimes get an error (EL I think) when stowing, normally we can go to installation/diagnostics and get the unit to stow. Then it works fine, you could also try resetting the SWM supply as mentioned

"msy4us"......Winegard is actually very good at helping you diagnose issues. I don't recall the code, but I think I got the same one as you. I called Winegard and they told me it was the short cable between the base and LNB (about 24"). They told me to just make one out of coax. The part from them was $35.00. I just had them send me the new cable. Everything is fine.

Thanks, we replaced cable but now it just searches - looks like it may need to be reprogrammed.
