Triton V10 Fuel issues

Its has been over one year with many day in a shop. My 2015 Baystar has a problem with surging. Many mechanic and Ford dealers looked at it. Some stated there is no problem, but finally I got to the right place. This computer geek mechanic worked on my Triton engine along with a small amount of help from Detroit for over three week and I think they might be on to something. While testing the coils and injectors , the mechanic purged the line. Then I heard , I THINK I FOUND SOMETHING. When you looked at the clear tube purging the system, there was a lot of air in the line. HAS ANYONE EVER HEARD OF THIS? IS IT REALLY THE SEALED FUEL PUMP IN THE TANK? OR WHAT?

I'll tag along , to see if this is a pump problem .
Are they set to replace the pump?
JMHO: A continual flow of air bubbles from the pump , would truly be odd , the pump is low in the fuel tank to keep it cool , the pickup/strainer is against the bottom of the tank , and once past the pickup the fuel is under pressure; so any compromised section of the fuel line ; would leak fuel out rather than let air in.

A second thought ; I ALWAYS have them,

I'll add an " unless " to my last post .
Unless there is a small pressure leak ; past the pump ; back into the tank in a connecting hose like the one ( yellow arrow ) in this photo of a Workhorse chassis pump, where the rippled edges of the tubing could allow fuel out and the swirl of fuel over the rippled sides of the inside of the tube could draw air in at the same time as fuel sprayed out.

We are dealing with " Murphy " after all.
