Here is the body of the email -
Good evening TSD Fuel card holders. We have some great news. TA/Petro has come back to us with some great rates. They will likely be the lowest price out of all of our vendors.
We have also added Kwik Trip and Kwik Star to our discount program with 10 cents off per gallon. We are reaching out to others now to see if we can increase to some of the smaller chains. Our current discount network is TA, Petro, Loves, Road Ranger, SAAP Brothers, Ambest, Kwik Trip and Kwik Star.
On another note, it has come to our attention that some of our fuel card holders have contacted our fuel vendors directly and caused some frustraion for our vendors. Your agreement is directly with TSD not the vendors. Please contact us at 800-275-5089 if you have any questions or concerns. DO NOT contact the vendors. If we we find out that a card member has contacted a vendor directly, we will cancel their card.
Thank you for being a customer and your continued support.

I got the same email, nice that they added a couple more. people complaining to vendors, well that will hurt us non truckers

I got to use the card for the first time at a Loves facility in St. Joseph Missouri yesterday. I paid $1.29 per gallon after the fees. You won't see me complaining to anyone over these discounts.

You got that right.
The sign out front said $2.189 Cash I paid $144.....
The only discount I had before was the 6 cents form Good Sam at Pilot.
No more Pilot/FlyingJ for us. I've found Loves much nicer. I'll be interested to see the better prices at Petro/TA.

I used my EFS app to look up the TA prices and the couple I found were within pennies of Loves. Loves, in the area I was looking at, was still lower, but the TA prices were now a least competitive. Good to see another wide-ranging truck stop chain offering great pricing.

TA/Petro definitely has better pricing than they did but still not quite enough to beat Loves on average in most states.
Attached is quick comparison as of 5/8/20.

Well, if we are talking about pennies when looking at the decent discount we get now I'm not going to switch. It just gives me an option for those routs that may not have a Loves. I've become comfortable using the app to start the pump as I pull up.
Loves keeps giving me TirePass credits but I have no idea how they work.....

The problems, as I see it, are that I never stop at a Love's with cold tires and I'll never run tires to the point that tread depth is an issue.
Take care,
Stu

The difference is only about 10psi anyway from cold to hot. If your tires are gaining any more than that, they are overloaded and running hot.

It may be a little over 10 psi +/-. I run 125 on the steer axle and 70 on the drive and tag based on Freightliner's calculations.
When runing I have seen anywhere form 130 - 140 on the steer and 75 - 90 on the others.
Now it could be the actual pressure or variations in my TPMS sensors.
Personally, I like to set them cold also, but I understand what you are saying. Thanks

The calibrations of TPMS sensors SHOULD be accurate and temperature calibrated... But we have no way to know if that is trustworthy or even the same between brands unfortunately.
The Tirepass systems should be regulated by the states under the weights and measures systems, but I'm not sure of that either. At least they aren't using those pen-shaped gauges, those are the MOST inaccurate!
Does your TPMS give you temperature readings as well as pressure? 15 psi isn't outside the realm of pressure gain from temperature, but I tend to think monitoring for pressure loss or temperature gain are the important metrics - b/c both would indicate a problem in progress.
