TST signal booster install ?

Adding sensors to our Toad. Booster requires 12v power. TST site recommends install in Chassis battery bay. Any tips appreciated on wiring or alternate location

Thanks

I tied mine into the 12V power going to the trailer plug and secured the booster in the engine compartment. It gets power only when the ignition is on and its very easy to access.

I installed mine using the 12 volt panel in the midship bathroom using an open fuse location and ground lug. Easy install and it eliminated the occasional disconnect with the toad sensors.

Great minds think alike. Installed mine the same place 5 years ago and no problems and it stays clean unlike the chassis battery compartment

Wired mine into the circuit for the light in the drivers side wardrobe in my DS 4018. No problems for over four years.

Wired mine to an open blade fuse location on the panel behind my cord reel. Mounted it in there as well.

I used a self-tapping screw and screwed mine to the front wall of the chassis battery bay. I added a fuse and attached it to 12-volt power in the bay.

I had mine installed high in the engine compartment and wired to come on when engine starts. Worked fine with no problems.

I opened the hood of my tow car, clipped the terminals to the car battery, screwed the unit to the air cleaner and shut the hood, 7 years ago. Sends the boosted signal up to the moorhome dash reciever. Works perfectlyi
