Tv help

I left the TV on for the pups while I went out to breakfast and I came back to gray screen, now more blackish. The power indicator light is on and will not turn off. I can’t get it to play anything, turn off, zip, nada, nothing. I used the remote on the overhead tv and it works fine. Any suggestions on what to do? It’s times like these I wish I was more handy.[emoji23] Thanks for any help and/or suggestions!!

Hi ARD.
Consider unplugging the TV for a few seconds. Then plug it back in. Works for me.

You might try a hard power reset of the TV. Either disconnect AC power cord from TV for a few seconds or remove all coach power, whichever is easier for you.

I feel like an idiot, but where is the dang plug to unplug it? I think I unplugged everything I can find that’s not labeled DirectTV. It’s the TV on the Televator above fireplace.

Okay another dumb question. Lawd, I’ve barely owned this thing for 2 weeks. How do I remove all coach power?[emoji23]

Open the 120V AC CB for outlets
OR
Unplug/turn off at power pedestal so coach has no 120V AC power

Unless if fed from inverter..then turn it off

Hi ARD,
Can't help you on where it is plugged in. Consider calling Newmar in the morning.

Thanks Gary. May be doing that if this disconnecting power thing doesn’t work. I’m grateful for the help!

To remove all coach power find the Use/Store rocker switch. It should be on the panel that controls all the other stuff in the coach. Press store. Remove shore power. Generator should be off. Inverter should be off. Now there should be no power in the coach. Try a few things (lights and another 120V appliance). Turn everything back on and connect everything you disconnected.

If you can find the 120V breaker that controls the TV that will do just fine.
