TV Switch Out

Took the TV out of the bedroom, was figuring on using the cabinet mount behind it for storage. Do not have a TV in the bedroom at our house so did not need one in the coach. The cabinet was at a angle and did not work for storage. Decided to build one. Found a door size in the coach that would work for the new cabinet. I next ran down the stains and finishes, I bought what I needed and got some wood and ran some stain samples. I was able to finish the wood to match what was in the coach. I then ordered doors from Newmar. I did not want to order doors from Newmar until I knew I could stain/finish the cabinet frame. I did not want to be out money for doors too. The stain/finish products work like automotive paint, spray everything on and it dries fast. These are not wiping, was a learning experience for me. The finish is Glazed Maple. Am happy with the way things turned out.

Pictures are of the TV mount cabinet, wiring in back, back installed in cabinet and finished cabinet.

Great looking work .

A word of warning , posting picture like these will get people tracking you down to have you do similar projects for them .

So where exactly do you live ?
