"Tyron Bands" (again) Sizing for 2019-20 Dutch Star

I am looking to add Tyron bands to my 2020 DSDP 4369. I need two bands per each front tire (4 total). Has anyone had this done and what size bands did you have installed? If your coach is a bit older, it probably has the 315 tire size and needs only one band.

The tire size on these late model Dutch Star is 22.5" X 365 - 70R.

This extra wide 365 tire needs two bands per tire. The band width is given in mm 65 or 88 etc. (where 25.4mm = 1").

Evidently the deep groove in the tire is extremely wide requiring two bands to fill the groove preventing the tire from coming off the rim in the event of a blowout.

I know about Rettroband, and will compare both before deciding. Thanks for the help.

Thanks Don,

Wonderful information, but over 424 days old and you cannot reply to it. I could not find any discussion on model purchased, and I suspect only a small percentage of Newmar owners have 365 front tires.

So, if anyone knows the model/size of their Tyron bands on the large 22.5 X 365 tires that would allow us to shop around more and make sure we get the correct size. We have no dealers here in State College and I would have to travel some distance to have them installed. Also, there is a tire shop here that is willing to learn, and I volunteered to be first on their list.

Respectfully,

BobbyJ

Call Marshall at NIRVC to learn about Retrobands. We
went with Retrobands on our 19 MADP and are glad we did.
