Under Slide Gasket

Has anyone had this bottom gasket on a slide become detached? It appears that it is glued to a strip of metal that is screwed vertically under the slide box to seal it up.

Looks like the same set up as my vintage coach ; the rubber is still firmly attached on mine ; and I've had it, metal and gasket, off to check the rollers and ramp for debris.
