Uneven tread wear on duals

Measuring the tread depth on my duals, the center part of the tires are almost 2/32 less tread than the other part on both sides of the tires. Wearing even but more in center of tire than outer parts.

I'm running 95 lb air in duals, does this sound like maybe that's a tad too much causing center of tire to wear more than outer sides?

The tag tire has 2/32-3/32, depending on what part of the dual is measured, deeper tread than than the dual tires. I'm keeping 85 lbs. air in them so maybe this isn't enough air?

Maybe 90 lbs on all rear tires?

Uneven tread wear on duals

Weigh your rig, get the tire inflation chart from the tire manufacturer. Then you will know the correct pressure to run instead of guessing.

More wear in the center equaly overinflation. More wear on both outer edges, classic under inflation.

Yes, classic wear pattern from over inflated tires. One solution is to paint a white line across the tire thread and go for a 20 mile+ drive and see where the tire wear is. Then adjust your tire pressure by 5 psi and do the test again. The goal is to have even tire wear across the tire threads.
Here is a video that gives you the idea, except you want high speed test for the warmed up tires.

I would drop the rears to 85. That's what I run in mind.

Thanks All. I was pretty sure I had overinflation in the rear after 24,000 miles but needed some reassurance from the Forum. Was keeping a close watch on the tread depth front/rear for a while in case alignment might be out but got careless and lazy I guess.

Too bad I can't run 85 lbs in the front the way those highway tar crossings and bridge entrances jar and rattle everything inside the coach, even with the new Konis I had installed last summer.

You should be running the fronts at 110 psi for good wear and ride.

I have to run 125 in the front, but I am in a 2016 DS with the smaller tires.Depending on how much fuel I am carrying I am about 16900 - 17400# in the front. I really wish I could put the larger tires on just so I could run lower pressure. I really don't like running the tires that close to the capacity.
