Unknown part, do you know what it is?
I just purchased a 2005 Dutch Star MH. As I was going through it I found the part (picture attached) under the kitchen sink just laying on the shelf.
Can anyone tell me what it is? Where it belongs?
This is my first MH and I am VERY green.
Thanks for the help.

If you have a "drop-in" sink, they may be sink "hold-down" clamps. Take a flashlight and look up under your sink and see if there are other "hold-down" clamps already attached to your sink.
Best to you - Glenn

I am sitting in my 2004 DSDP right now. I looked under the sink and didn't see anything like the object in your picture.

Second guess: a towel bar/TP mounting backplate. This is the type of plate that is behind the decorative mount of a towel/TP type holder. The tiny set screw in the decorative piece bites into this type of part that is screwed to the wall. Your bottom pic is the position this would mount on the wall. I can't figure out the reference to "this side to deck" is???

Here's my guess- I used to see things like that screwed to the floor by the edges of a slide-out. Then the owner secured the slide, "locking" it in the in position w/a rod or a seat-belt like contraption. The Y accepts a button from the rod or belt.

It is the hold down clamp for a kitchen faucett. It goes on the center post and the side that says this side to deck goes against the sink. The Y cutout is for the feed tubes to pass through.

I agree with Neil. I just put a new faucet in the house and the new fixture had a similar bracket. The hole fits over the threaded part of the fixture where the sprayer is attached. Before attching the spray hose a threaded nut is installed to hold the fixture in place. The part may be from a prior fixture replacement of left there by the manufacturer.
